NEWS: My third studio album, Solitude with Schubert, has just been released with Platoon.
It features solo piano works (including the 19th Piano Sonata, D. 958) as well as various Lieder with Lotte Betts-Dean.
So far it’s been covered by Hattie Butterworth at the Gramophone Magazine Podcast, Pianist Magazine, Interlude.hk, and Klaus Döring’s Classical Music Blog. I’ve also spoken about it at various interviews for the Financial Times Chinese Language and the Riff Magazine.
A documentary by Matilda Hay and Rachel Clara Reed was made alongside it, and it’s also called Solitude with Schubert, which debuted at the 2025 Aldeburgh Festival. It was shortlisted for a Royal Philharmonic Society Storytelling Award in spring 2026.
